Every year on or around 20th November trans people worldwide gather for the Transgender Day of Remembrance to remember those we have lost to violence in the past year.

Trans Action West Cumbria will be holding our own Vigil this year in remembrance of those lost and in resistance in the face of a country and a world that oftentimes seems to hate and despise us.

Our Vigil will incorporate an open mic for Poetry, Speeches, or anything else that our community wishes to share. It will also involve a short ceremony, and be followed up with a casual Social Group for community aftercare.
